1. Working principle: With friction as the core, build an anti-climbing defense line

When the train is running, the longitudinal force generated by the friction between the wheel and the rail tries to push the rail to slide, and the railroad anchor tightly connects the rail to the sleeper through a fixed structure. Taking the through-pin type railroad anchor as an example, its rail clamp clamps the bottom of the rail, and the through-pin is wedged in to make the baffle close to the side of the sleeper. When the rail is stressed, the anchoring force of the sleeper and the spike disperses the longitudinal force to the roadbed, forming a reverse resistance. The new card-type railroad anchor tightens the main and auxiliary body clamps with bolts, and cooperates with the bearing plate to further enhance the friction. Its anti-climbing resistance is significantly improved compared with the traditional structure, and there is no impact during installation, and the service life is longer.

2. Type and structure: From through-pin type to card type, technical iteration and upgrade

Pin-type railroad anchor: It consists of a rail clamp, a baffle and a through-pin. It has a simple structure but is easy to loosen. Its working principle is to fix the rail clip to the bottom of the rail through the pin, the baffle is close to the rail sleeper, and the anchoring force of the spike is used to transmit resistance.

Card-type rail anchor: Developed by Shenyang Railway Bureau in 1994 and obtained a national patent, it uses bolts to tighten the main and auxiliary body clips, and cooperates with the bearing plate to achieve high-strength friction. Its installation must strictly follow the torque requirements to avoid high-stress breakage, and the anti-climbing durability is better than the pin-through type.

Spiral strong rail anchors: It is divided into cast type (convex and concave rail clip + bolt + bearing plate) and welded type (clip per binario + rail lock buckle + rail stopper). The rail clip is clamped to the rail by tightening the bolts, which is suitable for a variety of rail models.

3. Function and significance: Ensure track stability and reduce maintenance costs

Prevent track creeping: The longitudinal force generated by the start and stop, acceleration and deceleration of the train can easily cause the displacement of the rail, especially in the double-track section, the direction of heavy vehicles, and long downhill areas. The railroad anchor fixes the connection between the rail and the sleeper to prevent the displacement of the sleeper and the destruction of the track geometry.

Extend equipment life: Line creeping can lead to uneven rail joints, crooked sleepers, and even cause track runway accidents. The rail anchor is used in conjunction with the anti-climbing support to form apoint-line-surfacethree-level protection network, reduce line diseases, and reduce maintenance costs.

Improve driving safety: The railroad anchor disperses the longitudinal force, maintains the track gauge and line smoothness, ensures the stability of the wheel-rail relationship, and prevents derailment accidents.

4. Technological evolution and future trends
