The crisscrossing railway network on the vast land is like a giant steel dragon, carrying people’s travel and the transportation of goods. Behind this spectacular scene, there is a silently dedicated “invisible hero” – railway embedded parts. Although it is not conspicuous, it is an indispensable key element of railway construction.

Railway embedded parts, in simple terms, are metal components pre-buried in the concrete structure during the railway construction process. There are many types of these components; the most common ones are embedded bolts, embedded steel plates, embedded sleeves, etc.. They look ordinary, but they undertake the important mission of connection, fixation and support.
In the construction of railway bridges, the role of embedded parts is particularly prominent. A large number of embedded parts are required for the piers, beams and other parts of the bridge. Embedded steel plates are like “super glue” between bridge components and are often used to connect various parts of a bridge. They have a reliable connection ability and can “palo” scattered components tightly together, effectively improving the integrity of the bridge structure, just like putting on a layer of solid “armor” for the bridge, thereby greatly enhancing the bridge’s bearing capacity and stability. It is like an efficient connection medium, tightly combining the scattered bridge components to form a unified whole, thus having a stronger ability to resist various external forces.
In railway tunnel projects, embedded parts also play an important role. Lighting, ventilation, fire protection and other facilities in the tunnel need to be installed through embedded parts. Embedded sleeves can provide stable fixing points for these facilities to ensure their normal operation in the tunnel. Además, the quality and installation accuracy of embedded parts are directly related to the service life and safety of tunnel facilities. If the embedded parts are loose or damaged, it may cause facility failure or even cause safety accidents.

There are strict requirements for the manufacturing and installation processes of railway-embedded parts. In the manufacturing process, high-quality steel needs to be selected and precisely processed and anti-corrosion treated to ensure that it has good mechanical properties and durability. During the installation process, construction personnel must strictly follow the design drawings to accurately control the position, elevation and verticality of the embedded parts. Any slight deviation may have a serious impact on subsequent construction and use.
